GREATEST MISSES
I don’t think “best of” works for something as silly as Orlando’s Joint, but as we gear up to drop new episodes (starting Dec 1st!!) I’ll be posting blurbs about a few of the episodes that irritate me less than the others.
Bumpie’s Dead pt. 3
Three episodes later, I finally started to hit the kind of groove I wanted to capture with OJ — it was also when I figured out how to really work the basics of Flash animation. Eps 1 and 2 were mostly just the characters standing around yapping. With ep 3, the “how to” flash tips started to sink in and I was able to pull off some eye-popping effects: Orlando tipping over in his chair! A shadowy creature rising up in front of Orlando and Magda! Panning from shadow to Bumpie the roach peeking out from behind a coffee cup! Ok, maybe not eye-popping, but it’s all about the little things…
